The call you've been putting off. Consider it made.
HoldMyCall's AI assistant dials for you, sits through the hold music, handles the conversation, and reports back with a full summary.
How it works
- 1
Tell it what to do
Give the assistant a number, an objective, and any details it might need: account numbers, reference codes, dates.
- 2
The agent makes the call
It dials, waits through the hold music, navigates phone menus, and handles the conversation politely and persistently.
- 3
You get the full report
A summary, the outcome, any reference numbers, plus the full transcript and recording. All without picking up the phone.
The calls you'd rather not make
Chase a delivery
"My parcel was due Tuesday and never arrived. Find out where it is and get a new delivery date."
Book an appointment
"Book me a dental check-up, any weekday after 4pm in the next two weeks."
Query a bill
"My broadband bill jumped by 12 pounds this month. Find out why and what my options are."
Questions, answered
- Does the agent pretend to be me?
- No. At the start of every call it introduces itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf. It never pretends to be human.
- What if the company refuses to talk to an AI?
- The agent politely explains it is authorised to act for you and can verify the account details they would normally ask for. If they still refuse, it notes what they said so you know the best route forward, and if you have chosen to be available it can hand the call over to you live.
- Can it spend my money or agree to things?
- No. The agent is hard-coded to refuse any payment, contract change, or financial commitment. It will say the account holder will follow up.
- What do I get after the call?
- A short summary, whether the objective was achieved, any extracted details like reference numbers, the full transcript, and the audio recording.
- Which countries can it call?
- UK and US numbers during the beta. Emergency and premium-rate numbers are blocked.
- What happens to my data?
- Calls are recorded and transcribed to deliver the service. Recordings and transcripts are deleted after 90 days by default. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
