Get through to Yodel without the hold queue
Yodel handles a lot of the cheaper, bulkier deliveries, and 'left in a safe place' is a phrase its customers know well. The phone line is open reasonably long hours, but you'll want the tracking ID before you dial.

What HoldMyCall does on a Yodel call
- 1
Dials and waits
It rings 0330 335 0950, works through the menu and sits in the queue, however long it takes. You get on with your day.
- 2
Has the conversation
It introduces itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf, gives the details you provided when asked, and pushes politely for the outcome you wanted.
- 3
Reports back
A summary, whether it got what you asked for, any reference numbers, and the full transcript and recording. If they insist on speaking to you, your phone rings and one keypress joins the live call.
Things people ask it to sort with Yodel
Find a parcel left 'in a safe place'
“My parcel shows as delivered to a safe place but I can't find it anywhere. Find out exactly where the driver left it and raise a missing parcel case if needed.”
Chase a parcel with no updates
“My parcel hasn't had a tracking update in five days. Find out where it is and when it will arrive.”
Arrange a redelivery
“A delivery was missed. Rearrange it for a day when someone will be in, ideally Saturday morning.”
Have these ready
Whether you ring or the assistant does, Yodel will want some of these before they will talk about your account.
- Tracking ID
- Delivery postcode
- Retailer and order number
Save them once in Settings and every call starts with them filled in. The assistant only gives a detail when it is asked for it, and it is hard-coded to refuse payments and contract changes.
Let it ring Yodel for you.
First 5 calls are free while we're in beta. The assistant never pretends to be human, and every word is yours to keep.
