HoldMyCall

Get through to Plusnet without the hold queue

Plusnet is one of the few providers that still says the phone is the best way to reach it, and backs that with seven-day hours. The catch is that without chat or email, everyone is in the same queue, and it shows at the end of the day.

Worth knowing
Plusnet says the phone is its fastest route and there's no chat or public email. That means everyone is in the same queue.

Number checked against Plusnet's own site on 10 October 2026. Call charges may apply if you ring it yourself.

What HoldMyCall does on a Plusnet call

  1. 1

    Dials and waits

It rings 0330 1239 123, works through the menu and sits in the queue for up to an hour. You get on with your day.

  2. 2

    Has the conversation

It introduces itself as an AI assistant calling on your behalf, gives the details you provided when asked, and keeps asking for the outcome you wanted.

  3. 3

    Reports back

A summary, whether it got what you asked for, any reference numbers, and the full transcript and recording. If they insist on speaking to you, your phone rings and one keypress joins the live call.

Things people ask it to sort with Plusnet

  • Chase a reward card

“I was promised a reward card when I signed up and it hasn't arrived after the stated wait. Find out where it is and when it will be sent.”

  • Get the price back down

“My contract has ended and the price has gone up. Find out the best available price for the same package without committing to anything.”

  • Report a fault

“The connection keeps dropping in the evenings. Log a fault, get a reference, and find out the next steps.”

Have these ready

Whether you ring or the assistant does, Plusnet will want some of these before they will talk about your account.

  • Plusnet username or account number
  • Account holder's name and address
  • Dates and details of the fault or charge

Save them once in Settings and every call starts with them filled in. The assistant only gives a detail when it is asked for it, and it is hard-coded to refuse payments and contract changes.

Other ways to reach Plusnet

You sometimes get an answer faster by another route. These are the ones Plusnet publishes.

  • Complaint form in the member centre once logged in
